Literature - Media Week
During the Literature and Media Week famous writers (last year, Wolfgang Hohlbein, Bernhard Jaumann and Asta Scheib among others) present their works – and will gladly answer the questions of our pupils.
In the course of “From Manuscript to Book” writers give advice and describe the long way from the idea to the completed book. Last year Dr. Ekkehard Baumgartner and Stefanie Kremser, among others, gave very illuminating lectures.
“Creativity” – key qualifications also need practice. One whole day the pupils had the possibility to be creative themselves. Workshops on topics such as “Mathematics and Literature”, “Calligraphy”, “Music and Literature”, “Limericks”, etc. led to interesting results.
The highlight of each week is a soiree with music – last year with Alexander’s Swing Machine, where pupils, teachers, parents and representatives of the surrounding schools were carried away by the music and found enough time to chinwag.
